Harvest Bay is a FICTIONAL town nestled on the banks of Lake Erie in north
central Ohio. Would you like a brief tour?
Like most towns, Harvest
Bay has a city hall, police and fire departments, an elementary school, a middle/high school, and a Catholic school.
There is a library, post office, bank, law firm, reality office, and garage among other "ordinary" businesses.
Although the business may be common, each building is has it's own personality and place in this special town. Also similar
to other small towns are Harvest Bay's three churches and one bar.
Some
of the buildings that make Harvest Bay unique are: Frosty Jack's, the ice cream shop (Notice how the building looks like a
milkshake?); The Pit Stop, gas and groceries; Not Just A Pretty Vase, flower shop; Reruns for Little Ones, children's consignment
shop; The Bayside Cafe, a cozy mix between a Bob Evan's restaurant and a Starbucks; and Harvest Bay Animal Hospital conveniently
located next door to Harvest Bay Family Practice, a renovated Victorian home, so that you and your animal friends can
be taken care of in the same trip!
In the heart of the town there
is a huge park with soccer fields, baseball diamonds, an enormous playground, and a water hole for fishing and swimming.
A large residential area butts up to the park. Also, there is a newer subdivision where many of the homes have a lake
view.
Beyond the city limits to the north there are acres and acres of
farmland and miles and miles of the great Lake Erie. Sullivans' farm is where the barn dance is held during the annual Harvest
Festival and it's a favorite place to go during the cool autumn months when Jacob Sullivan creates a corn maze in one
of his fields and gives hay rides.
If you follow Lake Erie
Hwy east, you'll run into Cresthaven, a much bigger city than Harvest Bay with plenty of shops and restaurants to
choose from. Cresthaven Medical Center is a new facility that serves the people of Cresthaven and all of the neighboring
towns well.
This concludes
out tour of Harvest Bay. I hope you've enjoyed your time here and come back to visit again very soon!
